I don't like the selected thumbnail, can that be changed?
It depends. If the video is posted on the SeeVirtual account, you can have a custom thumbnail. If we have posted to your Youtube account you need to have a monetized account.
You can apply for monetization at any time. To be reviewed, all channels need at least 4,000 watch hours in the previous 12 months and 1,000 subscribers. This requirement allows Youtube to properly evaluate new channels and helps protect the creator community.
If the account is not monetized, we have to use one of the 3 autogenerated thumbnails that Youtube has provided.
